For instance, when forming the articles of incorporation or articles of organization, the corporate name, business address and the name of the registered agent become public record. In some cases, the Secretary of State will provide this information to third parties for a fee. Fictitious business names that include the name and address of the business owner is published in a newspaper. Florida Biz Formation’s™ privacy policy does not cover actions by these third parties.
